We are primarily letterpress printers and purveyors of typographic design; offering a range of commission print services, workshops and products.

All our work is produced entirely by hand, by us, in the UK using our treadle presses, collection of traditional lead and woodblock type, brass picture blocks and all manner of printing equipment.

Our deep rooted love of typography and traditional advertising, working with our hands and utilitarian design, means that we practise several other kindred trades in conjunction with printing.

We offer a number of one-off hand-painted products and a range of commission signwriting services. Plus we also restore, remake and modify old tools and assorted items of utilitarian furniture.

If you would like to enquire about what we do, commission our services or purchase any of our products, just get in touch:

Print & Ephemera is run by Theo Wang. After having graduated from the London College of Printing (now Communication), he formed SORT: the Society Of Revisionist Typographers with fellow graduate Tom Boulton. After operating as a letterpress focused design studio for nine years, he has now set-up Print & Ephemera to continue to develop his letterpress practice and tie in a number of other kindred trades, all of which stem from a long-running love of typography, traditional advertising and craftsmanship.
